We are a family-owned and run business run by me; Firdous  [ pronounced F-ih-r-d-oh-s] - Living in Australia, (with my husband, a 2 year old, and 1.5 money plants). My father, who lives in India, spent 5 years with certified ayurvedic practitioners to create formulas and a skincare range that draws from the deep ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and heals skin conditions. As someone who believed in clean skincare, he too felt the need to ditch the palm-oil based synthetic shower gels and bring back the good ol’ soap that smelled great and was 100% natural.

As eco-conscious consumers and believers in balancing the right combination of natural and herbal remedies with skin care, my dad and I began providing the products as samples for those who suffer with acute psoriasis, eczema, and other skin conditions only to receive overwhelming reviews about the efficacy and healing effects of the formulation. 

This meant that we could really take this to more people and make a difference with our passion for keeping skincare simple, effective, using high quality ingredients that show results, are handmade, and sustainable. Voila! Welcome to My Soap Shop.

Why Ayurveda:

Our Path to Sustainability:

As a small business, we strive to source and partner with ethical businesses and packaging practices that do not contribute to deforestation, plastic pollution, water contamination, and skin toxicity. Our packaging consists of:

• Recycled paper sleeve around soaps
• 100% Recycled kraft paper mailers
• Water soluble ‘wrap’ that completely dissolves in boiling water, is marine-safe, printed with non-toxic ink.
• Home Compostable bubble wrap 
• As part of our journey to being a 100% sustainable brand, we will strive to do our best where we can. Transparency and trust is important to us so we will never lie about how or where we get things done. We hope you support us on this journey!
